Network of Women in Science’s success

The second phase of the project “Migration and Young People” is successfully closed


Within the project “Migration and Young People” which is being implemented by the Network of Women in Science and the Platform for Investment in the Community / Community Investment Platform – CIP, financed by the European Union and supported by the Albiz Foundation, the Women’s Network in Science in the city of Skopje in the premises of the Community Youth Center – Chair – YCCC, organized a two-day workshop with participants aged 18-25.


About the importance of the project and the actuality of the phenomenon of migration, the Executive Director of the Network of Women in Science, Ms. Drita Memeti, first addressed the participants, who also thanked the young people who expressed interest in being part of this project.


The first workshop was carried out on 30.11.2023 by Dr. Ardita Abduli Reka, who spoke to the participants in detail about the migration of young people, the causes and factors of migration, its preventive measures and analyzed with the participants the statistical data of migration over the years, officially confirmed by the State Agency for Statistics .


The second workshop was carried out on 01.12.2023 by Dr. Kaltrina Zekolli Shaqiri, who with the participants developed an interactive training on strengthening the capacities of young people in the Republic of North Macedonia, focusing on several important points such as – development of individual capacities and the promotion of the private sector as a good employment opportunity for young people.
