SEVEN GRANTS WERE AWARDED FOR CIVIL ORGANIZATIONS

The grants selection committee evaluated the applications submitted by the organizations in the call for grants for civil society organizations – first phase 2022, in the period from March 22 to April 22, 2022.

32 applications were submitted, of which seven organizations are awarded with grants, namely:

1. ADEC & PSYCHALB, Tetovo, with the project ‘Empowering Women and Youth in Digital Marketing’;

2. CENTER FOR EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT – CED, Tetovo, with the project ‘ACTIVE YOUTH AND WOMEN FOR SUSTAINABLE RURAL AREA’;

3. FLAGELUM, Skopje, with the project ‘WE TRANSFORM AND PARTICIPATE’;

4. HORIZON CIVITAS, Skopje, with the project ‘LUB-ON-WO-CRAFT–VOCATIONAL EDUCATION ON DEVELOPING CRAFTS FOR ONLINE SHOPPING, FOR WOMEN’;

5. SYNAPSIS WORLD, Debar, with the project ‘SMARTRURAL’;

6. VK AKTIV, Strumica, with the project ‘STRUMICA ON BICYCLE’;

7. ZIP INSTITUTE, Skopje, with the project ‘YOUTH AGRO COOPERATIVE’.

The new beneficiaries will operate in the sector of education, culture, informatics, as well as environmental development and natural resources. The actions will be implemented over a period of nine to twelve months.

The selected organizations are from the region of Strumica, Skopje, Tetovo and Debar and will operate at the local level.

The total support of the Community Investment Platform for these grants is EUR 45,000.
